Peerless Oyster Company is Veteran Owned and Worked. I say worked because the owners are on site weekly tending to the farm. They are water column grown oysters so they are very clean and always single and easily shucked. Grown in the waters near Gallant’s Channel in Beaufort, NC they have a very clean salty taste. They have the perfect 3-2-1 ratio of height-length-thickness. Often much smaller than a bottom raised oyster but the deep cup of the shell means there is easily as much meat as a large bottom raised oyster.
